The Garden City 10, now in its twenty-seventh year, continues to be the premier 10 mile event in the area. The course is very safe and well marshalled. Family and friends who come along can see the race pass at three different locations by walking just a few hundred yards.

Jog Derbyshire 5K	Sun Sep 5 2010	Midlands	Road
The inaugural Jog Derbyshire 5k is finally here! There are only 500 places available for this 5k jog through the beautiful surroundings of Shipley Country Park. Bring the entire family to cheer you on and enjoy the carnival atmosphere and other activities. This will be a fantastic event for first timers and recreational runners.

Organised in accordance with UK Athletic rules, starting outside the magnificent Battle Abbey the race will take you on a route around the historic town and finish back the Abbey Green where there will be plenty going on to keep your supporters happy.

"I don't like cricket I love it" - Thames Ditton CC organise and host the 26th running of the Harry Hawkes Eight form the Giggs Hill Green club house in Thames Ditton. The scenic but fast eight mile course runs along side the Thames and past Hampton Court Palace.

Paras 10	Sun Sep 12 2010	South	multi-terrain
12 September 2010 starting at 10:00am. Returning for its third year the Para’s 10 is a multi-terrain endurance run following the route used by the Parachute Regiments 'P' Company Selection. There are two races. The open race is for individuals and is run in standard running gear, but the P Company Challenge is just that - it challenges you to complete the course in a pair of boots whilst carrying a 35lbs rucksack! There is a team competition in this event too.

The Stirling 10K is organised by the Central Athletic Club witch was established in 1974 and now has a proud history of team and individual success so you not test yourself and push them event harder in the 10K race.

Tunbridge Wells 10k	Sun Sep 19 2010		Road
The 10k will take place on Sunday 19th September 2010, with all proceeds going to Hospice in the Weald. In 2009, 650 runners (ranging in ability from experts to beginners!)took part in the 10K and 150 children took part in the 1K Fun Run. In total we raised £38,000 which is a fantastic amount!

This unique, traffic-free race is now in its seventh year. The 10K race is quite challenging but we hope the climb up the hill is rewarded not only by great views but also by the knowledge that every penny raised will go directly towards the provision of the LJMC's services

The autumn running of this event is linked with the Spitfire 20 mile. The race is named after the Tempest aeroplane that flew out of Dunsfold. The route is one lap of an undulating course, starting and finishing in Dunsfold Aerodrome, home of ‘Top Gear’. Ideal for an Autumn Race target. UKA measured course. Proceeds are donated to Combat Stress.

Martlets Noon Walk	Sun Oct 3 2010	South	Road
The Noon Walk is one of those rare events in Brighton that is just for men. A 13 mile men’s sponsored walk, everyone who takes part will be raising funds for the Martlets Hospice in Hove. Join us on Sunday 3rd October at Noon for a walk along the Sussex Coast. You’ll start at the County Cricket Ground in Hove, walking to Saltdean Lido for a pit stop with refreshments before heading back to Hove where you’ll find a well earned pint waiting for you!

The Cabbage Patch 10 mile race is one of the flattest and fastest 10 milers in the country. Richard Nerurkar set an all time British record here of 46 mins 2 secs in 1993. Starting and finishing in Twickenham the course follows a loop, crossing the River Thames at Kingston Bridge and Richmond Bridge. The Three Molehills is a relay with a difference. Teams of three compete over the three hills in the Mole Valley, Box Hill, Norbury Park and Ranmore. Starting and finishing at Denbies Wine Estate, each team member will pick a hill. The hills have to be run in the order specified below. Handovers will take place at the HQ at Denbies. Of course, if you are feeling particularly brave you can do the whole thing yourself.

The Hastings Half Marathon is organised by the Hastings Lions Club to raise monies for needy causes and to promote historic Hastings.
